The Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ) has announced grants for research studies on gambling-related disorders in Spain.

The extract of the Ordinance requesting grants, during the financial year 2024, for the development of research activities relating to the prevention of gambling disorders, with the effects deriving from such disorders or with the risks associated with such activity , was published in the Official State Gazette of 5 April 2024.

The application period will be open until May 6 and can be requested via the electronic headquarters of the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ).

These benefits, for a total amount of 950.620 euros, are aimed at carrying out research studies on disorders deriving from gambling activity, with the prevention of the same or the risks associated with gambling. Its concession will be carried out on a competitive basis and the execution period of the beneficiary projects will be extended until 30 June 2025.
