Sportello Donna's recognition for the work, commitment and results achieved

In view of November 25th, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, in the gaming hall of Mortara in the province of Pavia was delivered today to Imma Romano, Director of Institutional Relations and Communication at Codere Italia, the prize "Women who made it”. An important recognition awarded periodically by Sportello Donna, in collaboration with the Gaia Foundation, to enterprising and determined women who, with hard work, commitment and courage, have managed to reach top positions in their careers. The prize "Women who made it” is part of the “Ottomarzotuttol'anno 2023 edition” exhibition, which will be held at the University of Pavia with the patronage of the same University and the European Commission.

"I am very proud, and above all happy, of this award which recognizes the commitment I have always put into my work and the values in which I strongly believe, declares Imma Romano. I am particularly pleased also because it comes from an organization like Sportello Donna seriously committed to the fight against violence against women, a topic that is particularly close to my heart and the company I represent. We have been carrying around Italy for many years “Innamòrati di Te”, the itinerant project that Codere Italia conceived and promoted and which from the beginning has tried to provide a photograph of the phenomenon of gender violence in the various territories to involve and raise awareness among public opinion".

The award was presented by Isa Maggi, General Secretary and National Coordinator of the States General of Women and of the “City of Women” project, Founder of the Women's Alliance.
