Today the hearing was held to examine the merits of the appeal proposed by the land-based online betting dealers for the reform of the sentence of the TAR Lazio section II which had deemed the directorial decision of the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) legitimate of 5.01.2023 for the recalculation of the "Salvasport" contribution.
The board, after a brief discussion between the parties, reserved its decision.
Unless the panel decides to combine these appeals with the further appeals scheduled for the public hearing on 12 February 2024, it is foreseeable that the sentence will be published in the coming months.
