The extensive administrative checks carried out in recent days by the policemen of the Districts and Commissariats of the Capital have led the Rome Police Commissioner to issue four license suspension measures based on Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security, against a VLT room, a commercial establishment serving food and drinks and two accommodation facilities in the Porta Maggiore, Fidene and Viminale areas respectively.

Specifically, as regards the gaming sector, the agents of the Porta Maggiore police station have notified the provision of suspension of the licence, for a period of 15 days, to the legal representative of a VLT lounge in the area since it has been ascertained, on several occasions , that the commercial activity had become a meeting place for people with police prejudice, as well as the scene of serious criminal events which occurred in the months of February and October when, inside the business, they were arrested, following the execution of the ordinance of personal precautionary measure with custody in prison, two citizens of non-EU nationality. Furthermore, numerous episodes of petty crime occurred within the business, including robberies, fights and drug dealing, which is why it was also the subject of reports from residents and local institutions.
