MGS Entertainment Show @ Macau

MGS Entertainment Show(MGS) is organized by the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA), co-organized by the General Association of Administrators and Promoters for Macau Gaming Industry, Associação de Mediadores de Jogos e Entretenimento de Macau, Macau Jockey Club, MACAUSLOT, and Macau Yat Yuen Canidrome. It is the first large scale gaming and entertainment exhibition organized and run by Macao organizations. MGS will have a floor area of over 10,000 m2. Exhibitors and buyers eyeing the Asian market will be coming from all corners of the world. The event will cover six gaming industry segments, including:
Gaming Equipment

Macau has established itself as a main supplier of the global gaming industry and an indispensable promotional platform. The MGS Entertainment Show offers all international buyers who visit the show its full cooperation and support. MGS also aims to win orders for exhibitors and inspire manufacturers to compete on innovation and R&D. Manufacturers and vendors participate in the exhibition by promoting their machines, software and frameworks in a variety of business-matching forums; and MGS provides buyers with support for purchasing related to all forms of online and real-world gaming, entertainment and leisure products.

Leisure Technology

Macau has many renowned integrated resorts which combine a diversity of tourism products and are home to a large number of high-quality theme rooms, shopping malls, and Eastern and Western restaurants. Macau’s integrated resorts have become a model of growth that other cities are keen to emulate. The city also boasts leisure facilities and events for all ages, including theme parks, aquariums, surfing beaches, concert halls, sporting events and stage shows. In addition, Macau holds a large convention and exhibition centre, as well as banquet venues suitable for almost any type of event.

Integrated Resorts Procurement Fair

Macau’s leisure-focused economy is fuelling business innovations, and new integrated resorts are appearing in the market. New integrated shopping malls and bed-and-breakfasts with unique features and designs are also under way. Related industries are ushering in new opportunities for development and bringing new business opportunities for vendors.

Hotel Supplies

As a tourism-focused city, Macau’s hotel industry is developing rapidly, which is creating a strong demand for hotel supplies and services. Industry professionals are intent on procuring the highest quality equipment, foods and beverages, custom furnishings and mattresses, and indoor and outdoor décor items. Macau’s booming hotel sector offers extensive opportunities for the many industries on which hotel operators rely.

Environmental Protection & Sustainability

Being a world centre of tourism and leisure, Macau is committed to encouraging eco-friendly initiatives, which reduce operating costs and improve corporate image while also preparing businesses for future legislation and helping them remain at the forefront of the international environmental protection cause. Government and industry efforts are creating the synergy needed to turn Macau into a green city and a leader in the global effort to make leisure tourism sustainable.

Fire Safety

It is critical that equipment related to fire safety, emergency management and disaster relief, and prevention of violence and terrorism be optimally placed and managed. Through improved safety preparedness, corporations can expanded their safety efforts beyond fire safety to comprehensive natural disaster, human error, construction, and threat management.

Aseries of seminars and other special events will also be hosted during the exhibition.

The history of Macao gaming goes back many centuries. 2012 Macao gaming revenue is 6 times that of Las Vegas, making Macao the envy of the gaming world. The best gaming operators from around the globe are now thriving in Macao. The gaming supply chain is also one of the largest in the world. Being in the Asia hub with 48% of the world’s population within a 5-hour flight radius, Macao enjoys the unique advantage of being the epicenter of Asian gaming actions. Meanwhile, many Asian countries are now aggressively developing their own gaming businesses. Attending a gaming show in the capital of the Asian gaming industry will bring boundless opportunities to exhibitors from all around the globe.

November is an important month for casino operators. This is the month when they finalize their next year budget. MGS gives casino managers and procurement personnel the opportunity to sample the latest development in gaming equipment and services. It will be a great opportunity for exhibitors to foster relationships with this group of eager clients.

What will you see at MGS?
The MGS Entertainment Show prides itself on having an extremely diverse selection of exhibitors displaying products and services from both the gaming and non-gaming sides of the industry.

They include various casino fixtures and facilities such as casino furniture, lighting fixtures, LED displays for both indoor and outdoor and a range of different IT systems that are general, technical and gaming related.

On the gaming side, the world’s biggest and most widely used gaming equipment and accessories suppliers will be on hand showing off the latest products to hit the casino floors and those coming very soon. From slots, table games and hybrids to gaming chips and shuffling machines, you can expect to find everything and anything gaming related across the vast exhibition space.

Being Asian-centric, MGS boasts a unique understanding of the gaming market in Asia as a whole and Macao in particular so the range of products and services available will provide broad appeal to buyers from across the region. It aims to provide the perfect meeting place for vendors and buyers.

The array of exhibitors on show at MGS includes various promotional services and memorabilia, such as souvenirs, while food and beverage providers from all over Asia will demonstrate their unique product ranges.

And if that’s not enough, there will be a range of entertainment options on offer including after-show dinners, networking and parties as well as the opportunity to attend the famous Macao Grand Prix.
